LeAnn "LeLe" Drake is a licensed cosmetologist and educator with over 15 years experience. She is a Artistic Educator with Matrix.  Her passion for hair started when she was 7 years old. LeAnn had long thick hair and was tender headed. She was always styling her dolls' hair because she was underwhelmed by how others styled her hair. LeAnn learned to braid and straighten hair with a pressing comb. "I started off being self taught and soon, I was the go to braider amongst family and friends." Then, there was no license needed to braid hair however, in 2009 it became a requirement. LeAnn says, it was one of the best decisions she ever made was to attend Empire Beauty school where her professional journey began. While in cosmetology school everything about hair styling came forward, from self teachings to working in salons. Her clinic floor instructor encouraged her to become an educator. Upon graduating she returned a month later to the cosmetology educator program, with the desire to educate and inspire really became a new passion. "As a professional through hard work, peer interaction and dedication to clients I have notched out a respectful space as a stylist, educator and business owner in my community."

As the CEO and founder of Fusion Beauty and Barber Expo, one of the largest growing shows in the Chicagoland area. LeAnn provides a forum to a diverse beauty and barber industry, so that they may showcase their talents. "This platform is to empower those with similar goals and positive imagery." LeAnn is passionate about the Beauty and Barber expo providing education in customer service, quality hair care, and entrepreneurship. "Leading by example in providing great customer service, quality hair care products and quality extensions for professionals and consumers is my goal."
